If you want to learn EVERYTHING in this sport in a safe controlled environment that follows a natural progress for learning then The Bachelor's Degree is the class for you. This class begins in the safe learning environment of a heated swimming pool where you will learn all the basics of boat control, paddle strokes, safety, rolling, and how to read whitewater. This class is designed to make you a proficient whitewater kayaker.
Your learning does not stop in the pool. When you are ready, you will continue to learn these skills first hand on the river under the watchful eye of a professional instructor. You will be ready to grow on your own as a paddler after completing this course.

Pre-requisite: None Time: 6:30pm to 9:30pm, Tues & Thurs at Sun Oaks Tennis and Fitness or Whiskeytown Lake Tuition: $525 per person. Come prepared to swim. Includes all paddling equipment and one Class 2 river trip at the end of the pool lessons. Classroom: The Sacramento or Trinity River. Lunch is provided on the river trips. Maximum student to teacher ration is 5:1 for pool sessions and 3:1 on river trips. Class Dates: Tuesday and Thursday Evenings
