This adventure introduces you to more of the details of climbing. At a local cliff, you will learn proper anchor assembly and location, and critical skills required to rappel safely. You will explore the art of proper gear selection and placement of natural protection, and the mental aspects of climbing. Learn advanced techniques in skill and the gymnastics of climbing that help make climbing fun. Safely perform your first "lead" climb without risking a "lead" fall.

Prerequisite: The Discover Climbing Adventure or similar experience. 

Two people maximum. Approximately 5 hours round trip from Redding.
